Why We Built Clabony: The Pain of Managing 50+ WordPress Sites

After years of logging into dozens of WordPress dashboards daily, we knew there had to be a better way. This is the story of how frustration became innovation.

It started, as many great products do, with frustration.

At Trust Tech Digital, we manage WordPress and WooCommerce sites for clients across the Caribbean and beyond. Over the years, that number grew to over 50 active sites—each with its own dashboard, its own login, its own set of plugins to update.

The Daily Grind

Every morning looked the same. Open browser tabs. Log into site one. Check for updates. Make a note. Log into site two. Repeat. By the time we'd checked all 50+ sites, half the morning was gone—and we hadn't done any actual work yet.

SEO management was even worse. Client asks: "Can you update the meta description on all our product pages?" That meant logging into their site, navigating to each product, updating the field, saving. Multiply by 200 products. Multiply by 10 clients who wanted the same thing.

"We were spending more time managing WordPress than actually helping our clients grow."

The Search for Solutions

We tried the existing tools. WordPress Multisite was too rigid—clients wanted their own domains, their own themes, their own everything. Management plugins helped a little but still required visiting each site. Remote management platforms existed but felt clunky and limited.

Nothing gave us what we actually wanted: a single dashboard where we could see all our sites, all our content, all our products—and make changes that would sync automatically.

The Clabony Vision

So we started building. The vision was simple:

  • One dashboard to rule them all
  • Bidirectional sync—changes flow both ways
  • Real-time status updates across all connected sites
  • Centralized SEO management
  • Team access with proper permissions

We named it after Clabony, a mountain region in Grenada where pure spring water flows from a single source to nourish everything below. That metaphor captured exactly what we were building: one source of truth, endless destinations.

Where We Are Now

Today, Clabony manages all our client sites from a single interface. What used to take half a morning now takes minutes. SEO updates that took hours are now batch operations. We can see the health of every site at a glance.

And we realized: if we needed this, other agencies probably do too.

That's why we're opening Clabony to the public. If you manage multiple WordPress or WooCommerce sites and feel the same frustration we did, we built this for you.
