Getting Started
Set up your first site connection in Clabony in under 5 minutes.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Clabony account (sign up at clabony.com)
- A WordPress site with admin access
- PHP 8.0 or higher on your WordPress server
- WordPress 6.0 or higher

Create a Client Account
First, you'll need to create a client account in Clabony to organize your sites.
- Log in to your Clabony dashboard
- Navigate to Client Accounts
- Click + New Client
- Enter the client name and any optional details
- Click Create Account

Install the Connector Plugin
The Clabony Connector plugin enables secure communication between your WordPress site and Clabony.
Download Plugin
clabony-connector.zip- Download the Clabony Connector plugin
- In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload
- Upload and activate the plugin
- Navigate to Settings → Clabony
- Copy the generated API key

Connect Your Site
Now link your WordPress site to Clabony using the API key.
- In Clabony, open your client account
- Click + Add Site
- Enter your WordPress site URL
- Paste the API key from Step 2
- Select your SEO plugin (Yoast, Rank Math, or None)
- Click Test Connection
- If successful, click Save

Run Initial Import
Import your existing content from WordPress into Clabony.
- On the site card, click Start Import
- Clabony will fetch all posts, pages, and products
- Progress is shown in real-time
- Once complete, you'll see all content in your dashboard
Note: Initial import may take a few minutes depending on how much content your site has. You can navigate away—the import continues in the background.
You're all set!
Your site is now connected to Clabony. Any changes you make in Clabony will sync to WordPress, and vice versa. Explore the dashboard to manage your content, SEO, and more.
